THE LOCAL CHURCH | A BOLIVIA STORY

Photographer, videographer, and director for Sagemont Church's documentary coverage of two mission trips to Bolivia in 2022 and 2024 — capturing the ongoing story of two church plants supported through a partnership with Compassion International.

The 2022 trip marked the first visit since the pandemic, documenting the early stages of what had been built — congregations gathering in tents, communities taking shape, relationships just beginning. Two years later, the 2024 trip returned to find finished buildings where tents once stood, sponsored children grown, and a community transformed by the faithfulness of the local church.

For the 2024 trip I served as the sole creative — shooting photo and video on location, conducting interviews with traveling companions and church leaders, and editing the complete story into a short documentary. The resulting film, The Local Church | A Bolivia Story, was shared with the Sagemont congregation and distributed publicly through the church's channels.
